Senator Joe Manchin
Joseph "Joe" Manchin III is the senior United States Senator from West Virginia. Manchin served as Governor of West Virginia from 2005 to 2010. Before his time as Govenor, Manchin served as West Virginia Secretary of State from 2001 to 2005. Senator Manchin won the special election in November 2010 to fill the seat of our beloved Senator Robert C. Byrd, who died in office after being the longest serving U.S. Senator in history. In 2012, Manchin was elected to a full term in office with 60% of the vote. Senator Manchin is up for re-election in 2018.
